Through community-based events rooted in outdoor education and fostering connection, Mountain Girl is your go-to resource for providing the skills, knowledge and support for all women to get outside. Not only that, but we are changing the way women are expected to play outdoors by breaking all stereotypes. We’re here to remove any and all barriers to entry for getting all women outside, helping you to discover new passions you may not have even known you had.

Mountain Girl is a community for women of all ages, backgrounds and abilities taking to the outdoors, connecting with themselves and others through adventure and exploration. Whether you hail from a rural or urban setting, prefer a long day in the backcountry or a quick escape to the lake, your experiences remind us of the riches that exist in the natural world and the female voices that bring those treasures to life.

We’re here to remove any and all barriers to entry for getting all women outside, helping you to discover new passions you may not have known you had.

Mother Nature knows no prerequisites. No dress code. No necessary skill level. No age requirement. She’s inclusive, welcoming, expansive and available to all who long to enjoy her beauty. She teaches us community, connection and celebration of our unique expressions. Mother Nature is for everyone, Mountain Girl is for everyone.
